Wilsons Patented Stone Cutting Machine This is a view of the boring machine used in the construction of the Hoosac Tunnel. It did not work out very well and only got in 10 feet and jammed. The hole that it made can still be seen today. Photographed by Jerry Kelley, January 15, 2012. Added to the photo archive by Jerry Kelley, January 15, 2012. Railroad: Troy and Greenfield.
