This is an Ho scale railcar ferry that I built for my version of the Boston and Maine RR layout. It is based very loosly on ferry operations in Boston,MA and Portland ,ME .My layout depicts the B&M as if it was a successfull, thriving railroad,starting around 1940 and moving forward slowly in time.This model was built from over 400 pieces of balsa,bass wood and pine,with handmade detail castings.It was and painted and weathered for effect.I build these on a regular basis and sell them to support my hobby.
