Morning rush hour on the Metropolitan. It's just after sun up on the Metropolitan Railway, writer & son's layout, with a concentration on third rail. The New Haven is well represented on this Boston layout, 500 feet from the old New Haven Boston-Providence Main Line. This morning, our switch man in the tower above, is busy readying the paths of three train-sets for their journey through the maze of turnouts in the terminal yard.
